More Botanical Garden

A few cards I have made over this past week. I found these ideas on a few of my favorite blogs
The Creativity Cave  and DO Stamping With Dawn. I love, love both of these ladies cards and ideas.
These cards were so much fun. Both of them are made from Botanical Garden Stamp and Die set from our New 2016 Occasions Catalog. I love the diversity of this set. There are so many ways you can use these flowers, and every time, they look different. Beautiful fun cards to make!!! See below the cards for Supply List. Thanks for looking.

Waste Not, Want Not

I can, and will, turn just about anything into something cute and gift, or sell worthy. I love to repurpose stuff. I love the little Quote "Waste Not, Want Not" Of course you have to be very careful, or you might find yourself on the next hoarder show. It can be easy to keep everything!!! Anyway, I love to repurpose Old wood, magazines, furniture...ANYTHING!! I am just one of those people that can see something old, become something new and great!!! It doesn't help either that I spend every waking moment on Pinterest. So Today I took some stamp blocks that I kept when I unmounted my stamps, and some magazines I had saved. I cut out the images from the magazines and decoupaged them onto the wood. I added some Ink, bling and rhinestones from my Stamping Up catalog, and now I have some very cute little blocks that would look great on a little knick knack shelf. Quick and Fun Project. Thanks for looking. Happy Crafting!!!

Homemade Sponge Ink Daubers

There are many things I use when stamping, and for the most part everything is fairly inexpensive. Exception to this would be sponge ink daubers. They are those tiny little plastic tubes with a sponge on the end.

I go through these like crazy and they usually cost around 1.00 each. CRAZY EXPENSIVE!!! And the worst part is that you cannot reuse them once the sponge wears down. It takes no time to use one up. So getting online to find a DIY Sponge dauber, I ran into many ideas. This one I loved the sound of best. It only takes 3 things and the cost the first time you make them is about .25 cents. After that, the only cost you have is to buy more makeup sponges and for 5.00 at Walmart, you can get 100. That brings your cost to about .20 each. Way better than 1.00 each. So here is what you need

Makeup Sponges, PVC tubing, and a PVC cutter
As you can see, I purchased 2 sizes of the tubing to see which one I like best. Both are 1/2 inch but one is for regular water and the other is for hot water. The one for hot water is smaller. I am not able to tell you that yet which one I like best, because I have not had a chance to try them. However, just looking at them, I can see where I might like both for different purposes.

So all you do is cut your tubing to the size you want your daubers. I used the store bought one as my size example. Once Cut, you just push in your sponge with end of a pencil, and you have your dauber. On the larger tubing, I put in a whole triangle sponge, but in smaller tubing, I cut the triangle in half width wise. So this is what I ended up with.

I really am excited to try these. I will let you know in a later post how I feel about them. Fingers crossed they work!!!
For now, Happy Stamping!!!

My favorite Sale-A-Brations Stamp Sets

Today I am sharing with you a few more cards I made using some of the stamp sets from our New 2016 Sell-A-Brations Catalog. With 50.00 purchase from our 2016 Occasions Catalog and our Annual Catalog, you can receive one of these sets for free. You will love them...
The credit for the card design above goes to Sharon Burkert This card uses the stamp set "Flowering Fields" This is one of my favorite blogs for getting card ideas. I just love the little butterfly and bow. The bow is a new embellishments kit called Love Blossoms!!! Such a adorable card.

My inspiration for this card came from Nicole Parmentier. I love her ideas!! Anyways, I used the Stamp set "What I Love" to create the card. When I first saw this stamp set, I was not loving it, but after I made the card, I LOVED IT!!! It was very fun to use.

This card above I found somewhere in the Land of Pinterest.
I love to give credit, where credit is due, but cannot even find the original card I used for the idea to give credit. So anyway, I love the stamp set "Hello" Its a very cute set and can be used many different ways. You will probably see it many times in the future.

This card above my friend Shelley Dickson made. I think she also found the idea on Pinterest, but I cannot tell you where. The stamp set is called "Sky is the Limit" It is a really great stamp set that works well in making cards for the special men in your life.

There are so many adorable sets in the Sell-A-Bration catalog this year. If you see any that you must have, remember you can get it free with a 50.00 purchase from our other catalogs. See supply list below. Click on any of the supplies to place a order. Thanks and Happy Stamping.

January 2016 Occasions and Sale-A-Brations Catalog is here!!!

January SU Workshop Samples-Botanical Garden
I am so excited about the new 2016 Occasions and Sale-A-Brations Catalog. Sooooo many cute stamp and die sets. For every 50.00 you spend in product, you get a free item from the Sale-A-Brations catalog. For the next few months, I will be making cards from sets in these catalogs. Today I am highlighting the Botanical Garden Bundle set, which includes, stamp set, die set, and paper.  I wish I could take complete credit for these card designs, but I cannot. I found them on some of my favorite SU sites that I frequent often.  I absolutely love this Bundle set. The flowers are kind of distressed looking on the edges and I also love how the die itself, cuts the flowers to look 3-D. Such a wonderful set to have in your Stamp collection. You will definitely be seeing more cards made from this set in the next couple of months.  If you are interested in purchasing this bundle, Please see supply list below for all the products I used to make these cards. You can click on any of the products from the supply list for a direct link to my website. Once there, you can order this Bundle set and all supplies. Happy Stamping!!!
