Peaceful Pines

What's on the craft table today? Lots of Christmas trees for cards that I am doing for a SU card swap. I love these little trees. This card really is a lot of fun to make.

By Georgie, I think I got it!!!!

Well I am on a Roll today. 2 post in one day.  I guess it pays to spend weeks watching video after video. I did most of it at night before bed, and I think my brain may have absorbed more knowledge that way, as creativity was just pouring out of me with this one. I think this one may be the one I do for my Mixed Media Class that I will be teaching in November. It was very fun, and used a lot of techniques. I think stamping on tissue paper has to be my most favorite thing to do now. I Used my Cricut to create the cute little bird and music notes. Everything is SU inks, modeling clay, various stencils, 7 Gypsies tissue paper, Spectrum Noir Alcohol markers, Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Walnut stain, Heartfelt Creation flowers and leaves. So, so much fun!!!

Todays Art Journal page

I am working on Mixed Media right now. Trying to learn all the cool techniques and different ways to layer. I have watched video, after video, and I think I am starting to get the idea. Here is what I did today in my art journal. Still much to learn about which layer, to add over layers, so that I do not have bleeding. I did a black spritz and then I sprayed a glimmer mist. The glimmer mist caused the black spritz to smear. So next time I will do the glimmer mist first. Its a learning process.  I used SU inks and various stencils and mediums. Printed my saying on my printer. Its my favorite Bible verse, so you may see it more than once. Now to get brave and actually put it on canvas and maybe sell it!!!

My Mixed Media project I did today.

Witching Decor Project Kit!!!

Projects I created from the Stampin' Up Witching Decor Project Kit. I loved this kit. It came with supplies to create the cutest witches hat ever, and then enough supplies to create at least 10 cards. Here are the ones I have created so far, including the cute hat. I found inspiration on Pinterest and my favorite Stampin' Up Demonstrator Dawns Stamping Thoughts. I love, love her cards. Thank you Dawn for making such awesome cards and sharing the ideas for us non creative people!!! Ok, so back to creating. I may get bored before I finish using up all the supplies in the kit. Look for More to come!!!

Here are a few more cards I made this past week using a few New Stamps from our Seasonal Catalog. We have some really fun stamps and embellishments. To place a order, please visit Paint'd Pretties
