August Card Challenge...

Had a lot of fun making this Easel Card for From the Heart card Challenge This site gives out free digi stamps each month if you do their card challenge. This month is an adorable little kitty and his little furry friends peeking out on each side On this card I layered several colors of cardstock and pattern paper and placed them on a Easel card template. I printed digi stamp on white card stock and colored with Prisma pencils and mineral spirits. I call this clean and simple as I really did not do anything special. It was just so darn cute the way it was. I did color my kitty the same color as my real life kitty Nemo. I really love this little card and it was great fun. Thanks From the Heart!!!

From the Heart Card Challenge

Hello everyone, just wanted to post a card I made for From the Heart card Challenge This site gives out free digi stamps each month if you do their card challenge. So I thought it sounded like a fun way to collect some cute digi stamps. On this card I layered colored cardstock starting with 5.5x11 folded in half. Then graduated down 1/4 inch each piece. I printed digi stamp on white card stock and colored with Prism pencils and mineral spirits. I then did black embossing on the lady bug, glitter and clear stones on the flowers and added diamond glaze on the paint brush and drop to give it a wet effect. I added a cute little paperclip and ribbon on the side. Used a sentiment from my stash for outside and inside of card. The rest of the dies are from Stampin' Up.  Thanks for looking

Altered Dog Shadowbox

Altered Shadow Box in a Dog Theme. This was so much fun to make. I purchased the box from our local thrift shop and then I painted and stained it. I added all kinds of dog embellishments, ribbon, and trim. I added vintage photos I found from internet for a example of how you can add your own doggie photos. Or you can leave the ones I added. Your choice. I put a antique handle I purchased from Hobby Lobby on the top. Fun, Fun. Hopefully I will be selling this in the Fall Craft show this year. This one will sell for 35.00
