HCG Day 4

I have a huge Praise to share!!! I woke up this morning and my blood sugar was 92. I nearly started crying. It has not been that low since I started all this diet stuff back last year. I was able to go from over 300 to around 140, but I have not been able to get it any lower on a regular basis. Probably the lowest ever waking up was 115, but that was like once. 92 is actually a great reading. Just hoping it will be like that come morning. I am almost to scared to get excited!!! So day 4 was a little harder. I felt hungry most of the day. I am sure its just my body trying to adjust to the lower calories, but its very hard to ignore the hunger pains. I ended up almost going over my calorie limit. This afternoon before dinner I had only 111 calories left for dinner. Thankfully I had fish and fish was only 93 and salad is 17 so that put me right at 499 total calories for the day!!! Barely kept it under. On this diet if you eat more than 500 calories, you will actually gain weight. The reason being that the drops pull fat from the fat cells and feed your body the calories/energy it needs to get through the day. So in some cases depending on the person and how much fat they carry, this diet can pull up to 2500 calories of fat from the fat cells. With the calories you are eating which is 500, you are giving your body a lot of extra calories to maintain. It really is amazing how fast calories add up. I was shocked to know that I had already eaten nearly 400 calories with the little amount of food I had eaten. Know wonder everyone is so over weight. It truly is not what you eat, but how much you eat at one time. Have you ever actually ate 3.5 oz of fish before. That is the normal serving size of fish and NO ONE is suppose to eat more than that. I could really see how much money we could save if we followed the serving size recommendations. Of course, my taste buds wanted more than 3.5. Like probably 3 times that amount. LOL!!! I am hoping that by the end of my first week, my stomach will have shrunk and want be growling at me even while I am feeding it. The first 2 weeks is always the hardest, but I am determined to stick with it and loose this weight!!!! More tomorrow!!!!

HCG diet update

Well today starts my 3rd day of my diet, but really the first day of low calories.The last 2 days I was able to eat whatever I wanted. It was called the Gorging days. Of course I found it hard to do since I never eat the types of foods suggested to me to eat. Lucky the Fair was going on and I indulged in some yummy jalapeno sausage on a bun both nights. I also had my favorite Frappe at Starbucks like 3 times. I knew it would be a while before I would get another. I usually get it low fat, but got them full fat. Forgot how yummy they were with all the fat. It's amazing how your mind goes crazy when your doctor says eat whatever your heart desires for 2 days. I have not been able to do that in over a year. There were so many thoughts that I think I overwhelmed myself and ended up not eating the things I desired most. Like a juicy hamburger. I have not had that in so long, I forgot what it taste like. Oh well. Probably better I not know. So I am sure you are wondering what this diet is about. It's called the HCG diet. It's really a cleanse diet that removes all the toxins from the body. You take this HCG hormone for 23 days. You eat very low calories making sure you eat no sugar, bad carbs, forcing your body to get its needed calories and energy from the stored fat in your fat cells. Then after 23 days you start to add back foods and more calories a little at a time for 3 weeks still not eating sugar, starches, and simple carbs. After that 3 weeks you eat a diet of about 1200 calories. Then you can do it again, same steps until you reach desired weight. I will probably be on this journey for a while as my doctor wants me to drop about 80 pounds. I would never suggest doing this without doctor. There are so many things to watch for and a lot of supplements you must take while being on such low calories. Oh and you have to drink lots of water. Like 6 to 8 16 oz bottles a day so that you can rid the body of toxins and fat. Anyway, go search for HCG diet and read. You can order it from the Internet, but I suggest going to your doctor. Especially if you have any other health issues. As for me, my main focus is getting my blood sugar set back to normal and reset my metabolism so that weight loss will be easier. I am currently in a size 16 and would like to wear size 10 to 12. So blood sugar nomal and size 10/12 are my goals. Really hoping it works.

Today I had

Breakfast-Green Tea and my Reds(a vitamin supplement drink mixed with water)
Lunch- tuna salad with grated cabbage
Dinner- 3.5 oz of steak (boy have I Been eating high on the hog over the years) slaw salad
Before bed I had another glass of my reds.
Total calories=360---I fell short about 140 calories. Must do better tomorrow.
Water=6 bottles=96 oz.
How do I feel?? A little hungry going to bed, but not going to eat cause checked my blood sugar and it was only 102. Lowest it's been in a long time. I usually do not have problems controlling it during the day when I am active, but at night and mornings is when it goes up. Usually wake up around 140 in morning. Praying it will be much lower in the morning. Will keep you posted on my progress.

Goings On!!!

I have been so crazy busy this past month with my new job, church ect.... that I have not had a chance to sit down and post on my blog. So I thought I would jump in today and say a few things about what I have been doing and will be doing.

1. new job taking care of the sweetest elderly couple 4 hours a day M-F. Love the extra money.

2. doing some stuff around our house. Re leveled the front yard and about to plant some grass. Finished painting the door trims in the hallway, and finally got my entertainment center built. Very cool stuff.

3. Doing lots of church activities. About to start a New Scrapbooking Life Group. Its something I have wanted to do for a very long time. Our Ministry will be in card making and we will be donating any money we get to our Water 10:42 Ministry!!! That is a Ministry that several of our guys are doing. They are building water wells in Africa. YOOHOOO!!!!

4. Started a new Diet as of today. So ready to get back to loosing some weight. Have done great maintaining what I already lost, but ready to loose some more. Mostly just want to get my blood sugar and other things under control. Its so hard to get yourself back healthy again when you get unhealthy!!! Wish me luck on this adventure. Its a pretty tough diet but has had great success!!!

I will send out some photos of the things I have mentioned above. The next few days will be busy, but hopefully will slow down by Sunday afternoon. I promise to blog more often. I know I have said that before, but I am a person with great hopes!!! If you are going to dream, you might as well DREAM BIG!!! Have a awesome amazing day!!!
