A New Year is almost Here!!

I saw this on another website and wanted to share!!

A New Year Prayer

Holy Father,

God of our yesterdays, our today, and our tomorrows.

We praise You for Your unequaled greatness.

Thank You for the year behind us and for the year ahead.

Help us in Your new year, Father, to fret less and laugh more.

To teach our children to laugh by laughing with them.

To teach others to love by loving them.

Knowing, when Love came to the stable in Bethlehem, He came for us.

So that Love could be with us, and we could know You.

That we could share Love with others.

Help us, Father, to hear Your love song in every sunrise,

in the chriping of sparrows in our backyards,

in the stories of our old folks, and the fantasies of our children.

Help us to stop and listen to Your love songs,

so that we may know You better and better.

We rejoice in the world You loved into being.

Thank You for another new year and for new chances every day.

We pray for peace, for light, and for hope, that we might spread them to others.

Forgive us for falling short this past year.

We leave the irreparable past in your hands, and step out into the unknown new year knowing You will go with us.

We accept Your gift of a new year and we rejoice in what's ahead, depending on You to help us do exactly what You want..

I say it again, we rejoice!

In Jesus name,

New Craft room

My craft/scrapbook room is finally finished. After 6 months of rearranging and organizing, I am back in business!!! Here are pictures of it. I am so totally loving this room now. Thank you to my sweet, sweet, husband for all of your help in getting this room done. I organized everything into work stations. Above and below one table has all my stamp supplies. Another table has all my sewing, crochet ect... supplies. Another table has all my scrapbook supplies. Another table has all my jewelry findings and beads. Everything is labeled and easy to access. My most favorite thing in the room is my ribbon rack. I am a happy and now very organized crafter!!!
Today was such a fun day in my new craft room. My friend Dawn and her sweet daughter came over to hang out and we made some jewelry. I have gone to the craft shows several times this year and keep seeing these necklaces that look like picture frames. Finally found out that they are made using microscope slides and soldered metal. So her and I decided we must learn how to do this. Its the curse of the crafter. We have to know how to do it all. Anyways, we spent the week gathering all of our tools needed. Today was the big day to try and make a necklace. I wish I had pictures of hers to share. They turned out gorgeous. I still have not finished mine completely. Have some final touches to add. This is going to be a gift for my Bunko Christmas gift exchange. We were suppose to bring something handmade. I pounded my head all month and this is what I finally decided to do. I am excited to be giving this as a gift as I think it turned out very pretty. Here it is unfinished. I will post more pictures when its completed. Tomorrow we plan to get together again and make more. I have several people on my list that I think will love to have one of these necklaces. Hope everyone is having a great Christmas Season so far!!! Hugs!!!This is the back. Its the definition of sweet. I thought it was perfect for the picture on the front.Come back soon and see what else is going on in the new craft room!!!!
